Why "Faro"?

Built from the inside.

Faro is backed by current certifications relevant to the populations and systems it works within:

  • Non-Violent Crisis Intervention: Training the Trainers (Relias)

  • Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (Southwest Behavioral & Health Services)

  • Fingerprint Clearance Card (Arizona Department of Public Safety)

  • Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED (United CPR Association)

  • Article 9 (Arizona Department of Economic Security)

  • HIPAA Certification

  • Mandated Reporter Certification

  • Notary Public Commission (Arizona)

In Progress
  • Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC)

I also regularly attend AZDES Town Hall meetings to stay current on policy changes affecting AHCCCS and DDD providers, because good compliance work depends on knowing what's changing before it lands on a client's desk.

Faro maintains 45+ hours of ongoing continuing education annually across behavioral health equity, cultural humility, and clinical ethics, reflecting a commitment to staying current as the systems Faro works within continue to evolve.

The name comes from El Faro de Mazatlán, a lighthouse in my family's hometown.

It's where my parents grew up, met, and fell in love, the place that made their whole story possible, and by extension, mine. A lighthouse doesn't simply mark the shoreline. It stands steady through every storm, helping people find their way home.

That's the belief this company is built on. Strong practices start with strong systems, and good systems, like good lighthouses, guide people home. Faro carries my family's story forward in the way it shows up for the people and communities it serves. Compliance work isn't just about passing an audit. It's about building something steady enough for your team, and your community, to depend on.

Grounded in Experience. Committed to Learning.

Most compliance consultants audit from the outside looking in. Faro Consulting Group was built from the inside out.

Faro was founded to serve behavioral health and home- and community-based service (HCBS) providers — the clinics doing some of the most essential, high-stakes work in healthcare, often with the least administrative support to match.

A decade on the ground, not just in the audit room.

Before Faro, there was over a decade of hands-on experience inside the organizations it now serves

That experience spans Registered Behavior Technician work, administrative coordination, credentialing, and healthcare compliance across ABA and behavioral health settings throughout Arizona. It's ground-level work, the kind that teaches you what actually happens at the front desk, in the staff meeting, in the moment an audit notice arrives.

It also includes a lifetime of navigating the healthcare system for my own parents and family, advocating for them the way I now advocate for the families and providers Faro serves. That experience, on both sides of the system, professional and personal, shapes everything Faro builds: practical, detail-driven systems designed around the real day-to-day of clinical and administrative teams, and the real families trying to get the care they need.
